seeyou at The Sydney quilt and Craft show

 Next week will be a big week.

 If you are coming to Sydney to the Quilt and Craft show at Sydney Exhibition Centre at Glebe Island, the dates are 17-21 st June 2015.

Please come and say Hi , have a chat and try out the new Bernina Q20 quilting machine , I will be on the Bernina stand for the whole duration of the show.
Please have a look at my new work on display at the stand.

The Quilters Guild of NSW quilt  show promises to be one of the best.
There are over 400 quilts , and of these 120 will be in the Red and White category.
By all accounts I have heard on the grape vine it will be stunning......
So please come and enjoy.

Kylie has finished her stunning Baltimore top and is now quilting it herself. Picture below ..

Look below this is Kylie with what I have named her " How to Make an American quilt moment. Remember from the movie, when the granddaughter woke up with the finished quilt made by the quilting bee when was studying, over her as she slept. Then she wrapped it around her, went outside,   followed the crow to Sam her love... ah....... Anyway if you don't know what I mean well go down load the movie ... its terrific

Back to Kylie and the quilt is beautiful and now Kylie is machine quilting the quilt. Cant wait for the full finished reveal.

 

Elisa has completed her Baltimore and it is SUPERB....

 

 

A monochromatic beauty. Over 40 different fabrics here so cleverly brought together. Plains, stripes, floral, many values  , it was a pleasure watching the quilt develop.  Elisa machine quilted it as well. All in the ditch , straight lines and all applique ditched inside and outside. PERFECT....Congratulations Elisa
