Bundaberg trip

Just writing some ofthis post at the Bundaberg airport after some very successful and delightful days with the Bundaberg quilters.  Michelle Marvig and I were guest tutors for their first residential retreat . A wonderful rural location below made for relaxed happy ladies, all away for a few days from the hustle and bustle of family life. Just to sew, learn and enjoy each other's company. We were very spoilt with wonderful meals. At night families of  kangaroos were out grazing close be and sun fortunate do were the can toads. Michelle and I had never seen anything like it . They were everywhere. We were  told to keep our sliding room door closed because of the snakes..... Yikes   Luckily no unexpected meetings..
.
View from the rooms.

I was teaching my free form medallion quilt. I am delighted with the result so far of the 2 days work. All ladies embraced the free form cutting and piecing very well.
Here are some results

Michelle class did her Kasuri workshop , where some beautiful tops have stated their journey
