New Class for Tasmania

I'm teaching at Sew Knit Launceston on December 3-5th, 2012 a new just completed 3 day class that is called "3 day, 3 way applique and Free Motion quilt." Ring Robyn Miller 0363313266 if your interested.

 This quilt has been Machine appliqued by the following techniques.
3 styles of blanket stitch: single , double and triple
Decorative stitching inside leaves and inside the flowers
Blind hem applique the centre flower and the bias vine around the outer applique  border
Free motion applique the outer layer of leaves and detail inside.

 The quilt is then trapunto stitched the feathers

 Then we sandwich the quilt and start by ditching free motion style all of the applique outside each shape and then inside

 I have quilted the sample with many different free motion background  fillers that you can choose from,

Its a pretty small wall hanging quilt with lots of techniques.
