Back again, thank you to all my friends for your support during the tough time.
Now back to things
I'm very late posting this but I still have wonderful memories of Meroo 2013 quilt camp and want to share. If you have never attended quilt camp try 2014 its such a fun relaxed camp , very well run by the Patch workers and Quilters of the Hawkesbury Inc.
This year the weekend was 15-17 March . Spirits were high and loads of excited ladies everywhere.
I had a class of wonderful ladies learning Free motion quilting using and designing with stencils. We had 2 fantastic learning fun days .
Teachers attending were Lessa Siegele, Faye Packham, Amanda Daly,Gina Burgess, Adele Richards,Pam Furness, Deb Nichol, Diane Johnston, Michelle Hill, Kay Haerland and me. So lovely to get together with many teachers its a rare to enjoy their company all together and of course my lips are sealed for what goes on camp stays on camp , with all that wine it was FUN.......
There is a show and tell from the teachers and last years projects from students which is a fantastic idea, very rewarding for us to see the finished quilt. Saturday evening there was Bingo and wine!!!
Lovely grounds, relaxed atmosphere, great people = a great weekend
Thank you committee looking forward to 2014 which is 4-6 April 2014.
