Great work achieved today

Yesterday at Pegs Pieces Kirrawee the Tuesday once a month class were on fire ... doing some great work.

This is Kims jelly roll quilt. Came to class with the strips sewn together and wanting a silhouette black flower look now. with our heads together we can up with this fantasic look.

Kim now will pin the quilt and ditch all the straight lines if she gets the time for the next month class, then  free motoion quilting the black. I love it , well done kimmy its strong, modern and fun. Looking great ...

Bev during the month pieced up the tumbler quilt in stunning colours. Soft muted greys, yellows and charcoal. Now it is all ditched beautifully and ready for many free motion quilting patterns quilted on the diagonal . I use this as a sampler for free motion designs.

This is Lian's 3 way applique and trapunto quilting quilt. Fantastic work. Great detail in the quilting and the applique looks terrific. Your a great student Lian willing to give anything a go ....well done

It was another lovely day with the girls working hard and willing to learn more.

I had a request from Sandra and Denise to learn feathers formal and free form, so over the next month Ill make a strip quilt with the many techniques to quilt feathers .

I  Love it , always pushing me for more .....
